<p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Remaining cold with some rain and snow in the mountains thanks to an easterly wind direction, the only exception being Saturday when temperatures will rise briefly to 13c before more cold weather pushes its way in.</span></p>
<h1><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Outlook</span></span></h1>
<p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Looking further ahead, February looks set to remain rather cold with perhaps a spell of very cold weather towards the end of the month. The long range models are now showing signs of a significant change as we head into March with milder temperatures (finally) which should reach around 17c. March can be a mixed month weather wise as the transition to spring starts to take effect We&#8217;ll keep a close eye on the milder weather and as always bring updates in our forecasts and on our <a href="https://www.facebook.com/go2halkidiki.net" target="_blank">Facebook page</a>.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">A clear and generally sunny and settled end to the week is expected before more bad weather moves in for the weekend bringing colder temperatures, rain and some snow in the mountains. The following week remains cold but clear and sunny. Average temperatures this week will be around 10/11c dropping to an average of 5/6c next week.</span></p>

<p><span><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Looking further ahead, temperatures should quickly recover to the seasonal average for a time, with always a threat of some colder weather pushing in from the north.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">The rest of January looks set to follow this pattern of generally settled conditions interspersed with colder weather for a few days. But, on the whole, no particularly bad weather is expected. </span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>December Outlook</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">In our long range forecast, way back on the 1st of November, we predicted <span style="color: #008080; background-color: #ffff99;"><em>&#8220;</em></span></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: normal; background-color: #ffffff;"><span style="color: #008080; background-color: #ffff99;"><em>December looks set to start  quite mild with temperatures around 14c&#8221;</em></span> and it looks like we were spot on again!<br />
December does indeed look set to start off settled and quite mild with temperatures averaging around 13c. This trend looks set to continue until the end of the month. There have recently been threats of colder weather pushing in from the north, but the unique climate of Halkidiki does look like it is managing to keep this away for the time being. Saying that, temperatures in mountain areas are a lot lower than at sea level, especially at night (at the time of writing this, the current temperature is -4c!). So, for December we expect average temperatures with very little rain. A low pressure system passing through around the 7th-12th will bring some rain.<br />

<p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;">A quiet and settled week is expected with mostly sunny conditions, clouding over slightly towards the end of the week but temperatures remaining relatively mild averaging around 14c.</span></p>

<h1><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Outlook</span></span></h1>
<p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">As we head into another month I&#8217;d like to give my predictions for the whole of November and perhaps a peek into December.<br />
If you follow these forecasts you will have noticed that I have been running these long term weather predictions for a couple of months now and so far I&#8217;m happy with the results and the accuracy. You may recall way back in September, my long term outlook predicted <span style="color: #000000; background-color: #ccffcc;"><em>&#8220;</em></span></span></span><span style="color: #000000; background-color: #ffffff;"><em><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: normal;"><span style="background-color: #ccffcc;">November looks set to start fair with temperatures holding up at around 16c&#8221;</span> , </span></em><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: normal;">and as November is now here, my forecast was pretty much spot on!</span></span></p>
<p><span style="background-color: #ffffff;"><br />
<strong><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 12px; line-height: normal;">So, what will November bring?</span></span></span></strong><br />
<span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 12px; line-height: normal;">The month will start generally mild and settled with plenty of nice autumn sunshine. Cooler weather to the north and east may push down around the 19th for a day or two bringing temperatures down to around 9c before returning to around 13/14c. The next cold weather system look set to move in towards the end of the month as a mass of cold air sits over northern </span></span><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 12px; line-height: normal;">bordering </span></span></span><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 12px; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">countries and has the potential to drop temperatures down to around 2 or 3c for a while. During this period of cold weather, there also may be some rain with the chance of snow for the mountains as the temperatures drop. We&#8217;re looking at the moment around the 27th for this unsettled period.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">December looks set to start  quite mild with temperatures around 14c but with the chance of showers or more prolonged spells of rain for a time</span>.</span></span></span></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-style: italic;"><strong>If you&#8217;re wondering what the weather is like here at any time of the year that is outside the range of normal forecasting, you can always check out the ARCHIVE section on the left hand side. This will give you access to past weather forecasts and conditions though out the year.</strong></span></p>
