Weekly Forecast (24th July to the 31st July)

High pressure is in charge dragging up some very hot temperatures from the Sahara! This weekend is going to be very hot (Friday and Saturday in particular). Things cool down a little during the week only to see temperatures rise again by the end of the week.

Weather warnings are in place for extreme temperatures. Also the fire risk is very high!

  • Friday 24h – A lovely clear day with very hot sunshine. Temperatures reaching of 37°C (43°C)
  • Saturday 25th – An extremely hot and sunny day. High Temperatures of 40°C (50°C)!!!!
  • Sunday 26th – A welcome breeze in the morning but still hot, clear and sunny with highs of 35°C (44°C)
  • Monday 27th - A mainly sunny day with some clouds around. Feeling fresher with temperatures of 32°C (38°C)
  • Tuesday 28th- A clear sunny day with highs of 33°C (36°C)
  • Wednesday 29th – A full day of unbroken sunshine. Temperatures of 32°C (33°C)
  • Thursday 30th – Another day of sunshine and turning hotter. Temperatures of 34°C (36°C)
  • Friday 31st – Mostly clear with the chance of some cloud but still hot and sunny with temperatures of 35°C (37°C)

The temperature marked in RED is what it will actually feel like. This is called the HEAT INDEX. This is a combination of the air temperature and the relative humidity and comes into effect when the temperature rises above 20°C.
