Maxi lived as a stray, the local people wanted her moved to another village as they didn’t want strays living outside their houses. She was rescued and taken to be sterilised. She was a very nervous dog, cowered at a mans
voice. Maxi was taken in, cared for, fed and loved until a good home could be found for her.
Max was found by tourist. He wandering the streets with his
back leg severed. His back paw was missing and the wound inflamed.
Nobody in the village could say how it happened. The vet said the injury
was about six months old at least. Due to his age and his disability it
was time for him to retire to a home he deserved.
He is now living together with Maxi in England but they changed his
name to Jake to stop confusion.
