From golden sands and turquoise waters to wild mountain landscapes and dense forests. Central Halkidiki has it all. Starting from the beach resorts on the west coast, moving round the coast to villages of Kalives and Gerakini and on up into the Holomontas mountain range you’ll find Polygyros and the high mountain village of Taxiarhis, from where you have fantastic views over all three peninsular. Travel further and you’ll find the picturesque Arnea as you move round to the east coast villages of Olympiada, Ierissos, Nea Roda ,Ouranopolis and Pyrgakidiki. Just of the coast you’ll also find Amouliani, the only inhabited island in Halkidiki. A picturesque island of only 4.5km² with fantastic beaches and warm shallow waters.
